ETAF: Reuse

In our Fruit Water Treatment Stations (ETAF) , we use a continuous filtration and disinfection system that keeps the water clean, reduces consumption and minimizes the use of chemicals.
Washing fruit after harvest is essential to remove waste from the field. However, the water used quickly becomes contaminated with organic and inorganic matter, affecting its quality and making disinfection difficult. To compensate for this, large amounts of disinfectant are used, but without achieving optimal levels of hygiene.
The Ilerdagua™ Process keeps the wash water clean and disinfected for extended periods through a continuous recirculation and filtration system.
